It depends on the look and thickness. Skin-tight pants show off leg muscles and usually use thinner latex ($0.4mm$). Straight-leg pants use thicker latex ($0.6mm+$) to maintain a classic trouser shape. If you want a "jeans" look, ensure the waist and hips fit perfectly, but leave a bit of room in the calves for better mobility and airflow.
Be very cautious. Heavy items like phones or keys will cause the latex to stretch and sag unnaturally. Sharp edges on keys can also puncture or scratch the rubber. If your pants have pockets, only use them for light, smooth items (like a card or cash), and never leave items inside during storage, as they can cause permanent imprints.
Check the sizing and use a belt. Rolling occurs when the waist is too loose or the hips are too tight. A high-quality latex pant should have a reinforced waistband. If yours rolls, wearing a latex belt or a regular belt (with protected buckles) can help keep it in place. Using a silicone dressing aid on your skin also helps the material sit flat rather than bunching.
Apply silicone oil to the exterior. The "squeaking" or "clacking" happens when latex surfaces rub against each other (like at the inner thighs). To eliminate this, apply a thin layer of 100% silicone polish to the outside of the pants, especially in areas of high friction. This ensures the surfaces glide silently and reduces wear on the latex.
