Yes, but heat and friction management is key. Latex doesn't breathe, so you will sweat more than in leather. Wear a thin, moisture-wicking base layer (like silk or high-quality synthetic) to prevent the latex from sticking to your skin. Also, be mindful that bags or seatbelts can cause surface scuffs on the polished finish.
Coats require "ease" for movement and layering. While a catsuit is skin-tight, a jacket needs extra room in the shoulders and chest so you can move your arms. If you plan to wear a shirt or sweater underneath, you often need to size up or choose a "Standard Fit" rather than a "Second Skin" fit to avoid popping the seams.
Lubrication and isolation are vital. Heavy-duty metal zippers can be stiff and may tear the latex if forced. Apply silicone-based zipper lube regularly. When storing, you must wrap metal buckles and buttons in acid-free tissue paper to prevent "bronzing"—permanent brown stains caused by metal reacting with the latex.
Never use thin wire hangers. The weight of a long latex coat (which can be several kilograms) will cause the shoulders to stretch out of shape or tear. Use a heavy-duty, wide-shouldered padded hanger. Store the coat in a cool, dark place inside an opaque breathable garment bag to protect it from UV light and dust.
