How do I put on a tight latex pencil skirt without tearing the waistband?

Never pull by the thin waist edge. Apply plenty of silicone dressing aid to your hips and the inside of the skirt. Step into it and use your palms and the flats of your fingers to gently "massage" the material up your thighs and hips. Pulling from the top edge with your fingertips is the most common way to cause a "nail tear."

Why does my skirt ride up when I walk, and how can I fix it?

It’s often due to friction or incorrect sizing. If the interior is too dry, it will "grab" your skin and move upward as you walk. Applying a thin layer of silicone lube to your legs can help. Also, ensure the skirt is not too short for your stride; if it's a tight pencil skirt, ensure it has a walking vent (slit) to allow for natural movement without pulling the fabric.

How do I prevent the back slit (vent) of my skirt from ripping?

Avoid extreme tension when sitting or bending. The top of the slit is a high-stress point. Before sitting down, always gently pull the skirt up slightly at the hips to create some "slack." If you feel resistance while moving, stop and adjust. You can also reinforce the top of the slit with a small latex patch on the inside for extra durability.

How should I store latex skirts to avoid permanent creases?

Hang using wide, padded clips or store flat. Do not use standard clip hangers as they can leave permanent "teeth" marks. Use rubber-padded hangers or place a piece of soft fabric between the clip and the latex. Ensure the skirt is 100% dry and powdered (or polished) and stored in an opaque bag away from heat and light.
